Dr. Manny Cordero served as Associate Pastor at Oasis City Church in Philadelphia until 2009; is an Adjunct Professor at: Nyack College in Washington, DC; Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL; the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO; and the National Institute for Law and Justice. He conducts workshops and seminars internationally. He is a board member for COPE, the Oasis City Youth Foundation and the Billy Graham Center’s Institute for Prison Ministry and is the immediate past treasurer of the American Protestant Correctional Chaplains Association.

Manny received the Chaplain of the Year award from the Institute of Prison Ministry of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in 2010. He was selected as Alumni of the Year in 2011 at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

He received a BS in Bible from the Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri; an MDiv from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri, and a DMin in Marriage and Family Therapy from Palmer Seminary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He resides in Maryland. Manny and his wife have two grown children and five grandchildren.

Deborah Walsh’s career of more than 25 years in the nonprofit sector includes program management and development positions with an emphasis in human services. In addition to being a committed volunteer for numerous nonprofits, she served as volunteer coordinator and social worker for a hospice agency; executive director for a seniors’ center and in-home aide service; campaign manager for a federated fundraising organization; and organized a volunteer center. From 2000 to 2007, she was Logistics Manager for Prison Fellowship’s national Operation Starting Line program. In April 2008, Debbie accepted a position as National Director of Prison Ministry for Child Evangelism Fellowship, and in this role continues as an OSL collaborator.

Debbie received a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management from High Point University and a BA with a major in social work from Oral Roberts University. She completed the Duke University certificate program in nonprofit management in 2002, is a member of the NC Association of Volunteer Administrators (NCAVA), and holds the NC Auditor Effective Grants Administration Certificate. Johnny Moffitt is the Founder and Director of Worldwide Voice in the Wilderness, a ministry that reaches into the prisons of America and around the world. In the late 1960's, he was an officer in one of the largest motorcycle gangs in America. A life-changing experience with Jesus Christ in 1971 resulted in a commitment to spend the rest of his life serving Him.

In the early 1970's, Johnny founded and served as Director of the Texas Boys’ Ranch in Lubbock, Texas. One of the founders of COPE, he served as Vice-President and President of COPE’s Board of Directors and is the current Treasurer. In April 1997, Johnny and Betty received the Governor George W. Bush Award for Volunteer Services to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for their ministry to the marriages of Texas inmates and TDCJ officers and staff. In 2006, he received the Governor Rick Perry Award for The Best Family Ministry in Texas prisons.

Johnny preaches regularly in some of the largest churches in America. He ministers at pastor and missionary conferences as well as in high schools, colleges and civic clubs and has appeared on several television programs. He and Betty have been married over thirty-eight years. They have 3 grown children and two grandsons.

Bunny Greenwood ministered for 33 years with her late husband, COPE’S founder Bishop Frank Costantino. Bunny and Frank Costantino married in 1962. In February 1968, Frank, a gangster in the underworld, was sentenced to prison for 22 years. He served five years and was released on parole in 1972. While in prison Frank accepted Christ and one year later Bunny asked Christ into her heart. They went into full time ministry in 1974 and ministered in prisons all over the world. Her biography, Lady in the Shadow, describes what it was like to be an inmate’s wife. Frank and Bunny have six children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Frank passed away in 2006 after 43 years of marriage. Today, Bunny is married to Bobby Greenwood. She continues to be a popular speaker in prisons, conferences and women’s retreats.

Bobby Greenwood was brought up in Wisconsin. At age twelve he started getting into trouble and was sent to St. Charles boy’s home for one year.  In his early twenties after a marriage breakup Bobby left Wisconsin and moved to Miami, Florida.

Bobby became part of the underworld and grew deeper into his life of crime. Bobby was a drug smuggler, armed robber, jewel thief and an enforcer for the underworld. He did four years in Atlanta Federal Penitentiary for a stock robbery. In 1974 Bobby was arrested for the murder of a hit man. He was sentenced to Florida State Prison with a life sentence and two 15 year sentences.
Bobby’s friend Frank Costantino, who was in the underworld with him in their twenties, told Bobby he needed to change his ways and that he needed Christ in his life. Frank had quite an impact on Bobby because Frank had changed his life so completely. In 1994 Bobby gave his life to Christ and started his walk with the Lord. Ten years later in 2004 Bobby was released from prison on parole and sent to Orlando to transitional housing, Bridges of America. While there Bobby completed the Bridge Builder Program and later taught the program to other men sent there. He also ministered to the men coming into the Bridge who were being released from prisons who had long sentences and who were trying to adjust back into society.
In 2006 Bobby started going back into the prisons, with Bill Glass Ministries. His goal was to serve God by going back into prisons and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with men in prisons.

In April of 2006 Frank Costantino went to be with the Lord. A year later he started dating Bunny Costantino and in January 12, 2008 Bobby and Bunny got married.

Their ministry is “Servants of Christ.” Bobby speaks at transitional communities, conferences, drug and alcohol centers, jails and does marriage seminars with Voice in the Wilderness Prison Ministry in Texas He also goes into prison with 4 Given Prison Ministry and Sonshine Prison Ministry, with Jack Murphy. He has ministered in prisons all over Estonia and Puerto Rico.  Bobby and Bunny are sponsors for the Lifer’s Program which is an in house program for prisoners in Florida. He goes before the Parole Board for the men he is mentoring in prison. Bobby goes where ever God sends him working with other ministries in prisons in America and other countries.

Matt Aitken, born in Newton, Massachusetts, grew up in to Augusta, Georgia, where the Army transferred his father and their family. His mother dreamed her children would graduate from the Catholic school they attended; for Matt, that never happened. Parties led to his first arrest and probation at 13 for stealing a car and again, at 17, for drugs. Years later it was harder drugs, a deeper pit and a 15-year sentence.

Matt has served as Director of an inner-city ministry, President of Martin Luther King Observant committee and currently works with the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. He and his wife, Melissa, have one daughter, Cecilia Grace, born in June 2006.

One of 7 children, life for young Brent Bishop was rough. His mom was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and his dad had a drinking problem. By the time he was 8, Brent and his gang of kids did everything from breaking & entering to bootlegging. By age 12, he was doing time in the New Brunswick Training School, a youth correctional institution, where he experienced physical, mental and sexual abuse. After his release at 14, he dropped out of school.

Several years later he met Jesus. From that day, he knew he was the son of a King and all things were possible through Him who strengthened him. Brent’s life took off; he was “like a frog with his tongue stuck to a Boeing 747 moving 200 miles an hour”. He soon became a top salesman and started his own company making too much money too fast. Caught up in money, booze and women, he only called on Jesus in times of real trouble. The wild life cost him his marriage, home and most of his possessions. He had become a sex addict and could not control it.

But God had a plan; he went back to the waiting-Jesus. Having already made Him his Savior, this time he made Him his Lord. God showed him that all the money he made had a purpose, to help ministries. He should become debt free, then give half of his time and net earnings to ministries.

Today he is happily married; he and his wife have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Their assets run in the millions. He has been set free. Brent has traveled across Canada and the US and into many prisons with Monty Lewis, preaching the Gospel of Jesus. He gives half of his net income to ministries. Brent is a member of COPE’s Board of Directors.

William Bumphus was arrested 23 times and served four prison terms in three Indiana prisons. In 1978, while awaiting trial on a theft and burglary charge, four other inmates shared the gospel with William. He was saved in that jail, sentenced to four years and miraculously released after only 10 months. While incarcerated at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Indiana, Jesus told William to go out and build Him a prison ministry.

For the past 29 years William has traveled to prisons, jails, youth facilities and churches sharing the love of Jesus. He founded Jesus Inside Prison Ministry, Inc. in 1981. He and his wife of 28 years, Juanita, also founded Faith Center Church International in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1997, they opened the Jesus House, an aftercare facility for released Christian prisoners.

The author of five books, William has appeared on numerous radio and television programs including LeSea Broadcasting Network, TBN and CBN. God’s blessings include William being featured on the cover of Charisma Magazine. An ordained minister, William holds an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida.

Evelyn Lemly is the CEO of Kairos Prison Ministry International and its Foundation. Evelyn began in January 2013 after experiencing a calling to work in an area that she is passionate about: sharing Jesus Christ with those who society has forgotten. Under Evelyn’s leadership, the ministry currently serves in nearly 500 institutions and communities throughout the world.  Through enhanced financial health and advancement in operations, Kairos has grown to over 30,000 active volunteers that ministers to and impacts over 27,000 incarcerated and those impacted by incarceration annually.
Her previous experience includes Executive Leadership roles at Bible League and Biblica in areas of resource development, marketing, communications, branding and strategic planning. She also served as the President of the ministry foundation. These global ministries in their own distinctive way placed Bibles to share the gospel with people around the world. In her ministry work she has worked with staff and volunteers, thus realizing the importance of the people and strong communication to fulfill the mission.

Evelyn has broad experience in corporate business and nonprofit ministry. Prior to ministry service, Evelyn worked for BASF and American Cyanamid in various sales, marketing, strategic planning, management and leadership positions. She left the corporate world to serve full time in ministry work that shares Jesus Christ to impact and change lives.

In her role, Evelyn has traveled the US extensively and to numerous countries around the world. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees from North Carolina State University and her MBA from Columbia Business School at Columbia University in New York.

Dr. Robert C. Camenisch and his wife Kay, have been involved in COPE because of the Bible study Kay published in 2007, Uprooting Anger: Destroying the Monster Within.  Through COPE they have established relationships and served chaplains and prison volunteers all over North America and abroad.  The teaching, training and genuine fellowship of COPE conferences and members have been a God-sent blessing to them.

Robert grew up in Brazil, the son of missionaries.  He made his initial commitment to Jesus as an eight-year-old; was called to pastoral ministry as a thirteen-year-old, but rebelled against the thought of being identified with the pastoral profession.  He finally repented and went to seminary at 25.  He has pastored churches in Brazil, Georgia, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and now in Kentucky.  He has been principal of a Christian School, director of a Christian training program and director of a residential facility for juvenile offenders.

He and Kay have been married for 45+ years; have four children, all walking with the Lord, ten living grandchildren, and one great grandson.  Kay and Robert are publishing another book, The Great Exchange: Bound by Blood.  It is based on a Seminar that Robert teaches on the ancient ritual of blood covenant.  He teaches how it relates to the Old Covenant God make with Abraham and the New Covenant made with Jesus for our redemption.

Robert graduated from Stanford High School, King University in Bristol, TN, Columbia Seminary in Decatur, GA, and received his MDiv from Reformed Seminary in Jackson, MS.  He and Kay have done extensive training and teaching of Biblical Counseling.  Their joy is to see Christians equipped spiritually, emotionally and mentally, to fulfill the service call of God on their lives.

At the age of 12 Betty Moffitt gave her life to God for full time missions work. That call ultimately led her to marry Johnny Moffitt, and to work with him in prisons around the world. She has ministered in teaching, preaching and singing to both male and female prisoners of all ages.

For many years she has been a worship leader in prisons, churches, women’s meetings, and retreats, as well as, ministering in solos. She has been an active teacher in church classes from the nursery through adult education. For several years she was a chaplain in a youthful offender’s prison.

A graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute, she has had ongoing training in prison ministry, counseling, prayer, and working with those who are handicapped and mentally retarded. Betty facilitates conferences and seminars for Worldwide Voice in the Wilderness. Also, she conducts “Marriage Seminars” in prison with her husband and works closely with him in mentoring ex-offenders. Because she believes God wants her to help those Christians with a similar calling to hers, she has spent much time teaching and training worship leaders and others who are called to prison ministry.

Betty is a board member for the Coalition of Prison Evangelists and winner of the 2011 Chaplain Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Service. She and Johnny have won numerous awards including The Ray Chamberlin Annual Award for Outstanding Commitment to World Missions 2011 from The Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Minister International. They have also won awards from the governors of Texas for outstanding work in the prison. She is an active member of Heritage Church in Dallas, Texas; Rev Christopher Dixon is her pastor. She has 3 grown children and two grandsons.

John Sullivan founded Gone Fishing Ministries in 1981. He has ministered in more than 300 prisons in over 40 states and in many international prisons. John is the International Director for COPE and is on COPE’s Board of Directors. He served on the Board of Directors for the Allen County Jail Ministry for more than fourteen years and has been an in-prison seminar instructor for Prison Fellowship for twenty years. About 20,000 copies of his book Dealing with Fear have been distributed in prisons across the United States.

John understands prison ministry from personal experience. First arrested at age 11 and branded an incorrigible criminal by 16, John, at 33 years old, was a hopeless alcoholic and had been arrested more than 30 times. In 1977, he asked Jesus into his heart and the change was drastic. He took pastoral ministry courses at Fort Wayne Bible College and World Harvest Bible College and completed the advanced residency program in Correctional Chaplaincy Training from the American Chaplaincy Training School at Taylor University. John and his wife of more than forty years have three children and four grandchildren.

Dan Utz started Clearwater as a Christian country band in 1995 having been part of another prison ministry since 1981. The band toured USA and Canada for over 4 years and eventually the members retired from the band and Dan continued as a music ministry and Dan incorporated as a non-profit ministry continuing to provide music in prisons and correctional facilities. "Hooking" up with Gone Fishing Ministries and John Sullivan, seemed like a natural thing to do and has been a good thing team of ministry over the last 12+ years. Clearwater Ministries Inc provides music for prison events such as concerts, seminars, Sunday services and special events. A vision of Clearwater Ministries is to introduce and include musicians, young and old, to ministry in prisons and correctional facilities to touch the lives of men and women with the gospel and grace of Jesus.
